Please check over my answers. I worked hard on this. As I've said before I'm a frustrated Organic Chemistry student. Thank you to those who've replied to my posts before. Your input was exceptionally helpful. Thanks for your time.

5a is wrong since the carbon chain is 4 and not 3 atoms long. Therefor it must be c.

Yeah those last two reactions are a little bit more advanced. #8 is answer (c). This is a classic example of the Williamson ether synthesis

On #9, I make it a hydrolysis which gives (a).
