Hydrazine as a reducing agent?

This seems like a convenient reducing agent since it produces N2 gas and water. Just like how hydrogen peroxide produces oxygen and water as an oxidizer. I saw someone on youtube turn copper sulfate into elemental copper with hydrazine. I was wondering if it can be done with other metal salts? If not all, then how can I figure which ones will work and which ones wont?
Thanks!
