on the Wikipedia it said you can make a ketone from carboxylic anhydride how would one go by doing this via decarboxylation

Hydrolysis, neutralization with calcium oxide or hydroxide then dry distill.
Could you provide a link to the Wikipedia? Acyl anhydride do not typically decarboxylate as far as I know.

An example would be calcium carbonate and acetic acid react to form calcium acetate
Calcium acetate is heated to decomposition to calcium carbonate and acetone
