Chlorobenzotrifluorides uses and organic extractions


New solvent says comtains chlorobenzotrifluorides, acetone and methyl acetate anyone know of a good use for this solvent

The material itself is considered to have negligible VOCs and is increasingly used as a Xylene replacement in cleaners, thinners and other aromatic hydrocarbon blends

Low VOC's ? Isn't it a volatile organic compound? And if that vapour pressure is in mm Hg 7mm at room temp is significant.

Also I detect yet another environmentally persistent organic chemical here.

Parachlorobenzotrifluoride has a high capacity for dissolving many inks used by the printing industry. In most cases, up to 22 grams of ink can be dissolved in 20 grams of PCBTF. An added benefit is that parachlorobenzotrifluoride dissolves most inks faster than toluene.
