SuperModerator zts16 blocked my last post?

Moderator zys16 closed my post without reason and told me "stop". I would like my last post on a possible phenylacetic acid synthesis unblocked please!!! I will repost here: also, I do not exact this one to be blocked.

Possible oxidation of DL-Phenylalanine to Phenylacetic acid with Sodium Bicarbonate in water

5g of baking soda is dissolved in 500mL of warm water. Once dissolved 2.5g of dl-phenylalanine is added and mixed in until it dissolved. The theoretical phenylacetic acid is either obtained by letting the mixture sit for days (estimated 10-15 days) and let the water evaporate (phenylacetic acid is actually not a liquid, but powder/crystals) or the water can be very carefully boiled off. The yield, if anything is left behind, should be oxidized to phenylacetic acid because phenacetaldehyde is a liquid and so is benzoic acid and benzaldehyde (what you may get with over oxidation, using stronger bases such as NaCL). SO, any powder left would either be unconverted baking soda and phenylalanine mixed together, or our hopes, phenylacetic acid. Some sources are below:

zts16 moved your last thread to Detritus because all of your posts thus far have been pertaining solely to drug chemistry.

Reposting threads will not change the outcome.
