Solubility of NBS and succinimide in diethyl ether

Does anyone have empirical data on the solubility of n-bromosuccinimide and succinimide in diethyl ether? CRC states sl/slightly soluble for both, but I would want more specific data (ie g/100 ml) if anyone wants to share.

Thanks!

Why don't you just measure it up? It is the fastest way to find out since it is very unlikely anybody ever bothered publishing the exact values. Such information is mostly useless to most. Only approximate solubility is what interests organic chemists and in this case both the solvent and the solutes are organic.

Because I am not at the laboratory (late night here), and I am an impatient bastard who likes to ridiciously plan things in advance. :D

The preferred solvent for NBS is CCl4 and the progress of the reaction can be followed by the succinimide released which floats to the top.

CHCl3 and DCM may be almost as good.

Other halogenated solvents like bromobenzene might work. Et2O simply will not. Chloromethyl methyl ether might.
