Why not go ask the folks at www.wetdreams.com?

They are much more into illegal materials than are people on this forum.

I thought you were joking when you mentioned that forum before, Sauron. What a funny name.

**Edit**

Hey, wtf! It's a porn site! ....oh, ha ha (sarcastic laugh)

I believe Sauron was referring to http://www.wetdreams.ws/ , no idea as to his intentions at (deliberately or not!) misdirecting you ;)
Seriously though, this discussion probably isn't suited to this forum.
Furthermore, I think you'll find their physical properties are quite different, and a brief search will turn up much useful information (i.e. UTFSE) that will help you find out what you have 'gotton your hands on'.

The misdirection was unintentional. I have seen several of the usual suspects redirected to WD and thought it was a .com. I have never looked at it myself, not my cup of cha.

If they can't tell the difference between a ketone and an amine, they most likely shouldn't be messing with it :

- P2P (Phenylacetone)
- or perhaps even a freebase?

The licorice smell (see anethole) suggests a methoxy-benzene, if it's the (mono) 4-methoxy we may have a case of evolution in action.

Yes, I had to troll through forums pertaining to wet dreams, porn sites etc. (poor me, right?) before I found the link.
I think we can leave this here, thank you team!
