Domestic route to TCPO?

Long and complicated, but....

Zn + CaCO3 => ZnO + CaO + CO
4C2H5OH + 4CO + O2 => 2(CO2C2H5)2 + 2H2O
(CO2C2H5)2 + Ca(OH)2 => CaC2O4 + 2C2H5OH
Ca2C2O4 + H2SO4 => H2C2O4 + CaSO4

P4 + 6Cl2 => 4PCl3
PCl3 + Cl2 <=> PCl5

H2C2O4 + 2PCl5 => 2PCl3 + (COCl)2 + 2HCl

C6H4(COOH)(O2C2) + NaOH => C6H4(COOH)(OH) + CH3CO2Na
C6H4(COOH)(OH) + NaClO => 2C6H3(COOH)(OH)-5-Cl
2C6H4(COOH)(OH)-5-Cl + Cl2 => 2C6H2(COOH)(OH)-3-Cl-5-Cl
C6H4(COOH)(OH)-3-Cl-5-Cl + NaClO => 2C6H2(OH)-2-Cl-4-Cl-6-Cl + NaCO3

2C6H2(OH)-2-Cl-4-Cl-6-Cl + (COCl)2 + N(CH2CH3)3 => (C6H4CO2)2 + N(CH2CH3)3HCl

...what have I done wrong?

"4C2H5OH + 4CO + O2 => 2(CO2C2H5)2 + 2H2O"

Bravo!
I particularly like this reaction. It is an oxidative dimerisation and esterification of carbon monoxide to form diethyl oxalate.
What sort of temperature and pressure would you run this reaction at!

Oxalic acid is itself OTC (and there are far easier ways to make it than what you've described, assuming it would even work). And then on the flip side you write as if elemental phosphorus is an easily obtained starting reagent.

The less you bet, the more you lose when you win.

Ive heard small amounts of P(4n) can be gotten from matches and their strickers. What is oxalic acid sold as? And the carboxylation would deffinently need atleast 2atm to get an appreciable reaction, and if I remember correctly the CO should be kept at 800C. So Id need to prepare some pressurized reaction chamber.

Oxalic acid is commonly sold as wood bleach.

Ill look into that, But I'm actually looking at getting it from Jack in the Pulpit which grows ravenously in a place not too far from my house! It contains poisonous amounts of oxalic acid, I could solvate them in water then ethanol and finally treat it with calcium hydroxide to get them to precipitate out as calcium oxalate (which has a very low solubility in water.)--it'd be more fun that way.

You cut and pasted a bunch of equations without references that probably don't even work. Now you want to build a pressure chamber with carbon monoxide and you can't even find something like oxalic acid. I think this is the wrong way to learn chemistry

No cutting and pasting, I promise!

And finding oxalic acid is not a problem, I'm sure a quick ebay search will prove that...

In fact finding TCPO I'm sure is also not a problem!
