This is a temporary proxy member account, and internet connectivity is limited, but on odd occasions check backs will be made to this thread and files
can be re-uploaded if broken and/or hosted through another service option as per suggestion ...
It would very much be a great if they could be hosted by others through some other more "stable" means ala ftp ...

yes, but there is a certain amount of vulnerability with anything that is not static...
i made this thing primarily for myself, and put it up for others to use if they choose, if used as i recommend, (in a live linux environment not
connected to the net) there is next to no risk...
i hope to upload these files again some time soon, preferably more stable but i know of few options...
if you are really paranoid and have the time, you can always download the original vicaya distrobution and copy in the data and search index's
provided by me, that way you get the "original" script/engine (not that i modified it anyway)...

The problem with rapidshare is that I continually get invalidated by time-outs (the free variant does not give enough time for me to download that
many Mb).
Is it possible to put it through another download provider?

If you could put those files on rapidshare.com instead of rapidshare.de, I would then be able to use my Rapidshare.com premium account to obtain and
post the full direct-download links for them, downloads from which can be resumed.
