hahah. Oh the humor.
Hey, Blind Angel also lives in Quebec. WELL THEN. Isn't that interesting. Where exactly?
Judging from your email address, I can see what drives your chemical enthusiasm. FIGHT THE SYSTEM.

Uhh yea
navarone- if you want some HNO3 just acidify a nitrate with concentrated H2SO4. Why go to this nonsense of trying to oxidize ammonium chloride.
Really your posts convince me that I never want to be on the same continent as you as long as you have possesion of chemicals. Nobody could be this
dumb; you must be doing it for attention.

Did you notice he's now called 'Horny Bunny'? Quite a catch phrase - Vulture seemed to have liked it
By the way navarone, it's quite obvious that your posts on the synthesis of various organics relates to anything BUT an interest in organic
chemistry; much rather you are trying to make some drugs (or precursors thereof) to drug some poor female into your bed.... Not a good idea
considering your knowledge of chemistry - and not a good idea to start off
with!

You must admit that there is some Monty Python style humor in the following scenario: He tries to drug some female with home synthezised barbiturates,
only to discover that the chemical he managed to produce actually was some kind of cyanide...

aight fuk u guys!!
the love drug was something else.....
yes i like drugs and all the other substances that makes u feel more than normal...but i also like chemestry itself.
in fact chemistry is the thing that drived me to the interest of farmacology and drugs.
i asked u something....and like little tengraders u started making fun and going off topic.
now i repeat to everybody.
is there a way long or short where i can transform ammonia or ammonium chloride to nitric acid?
comprendido?
what u people just said was clearly off topic and with a stupid purpose.
if u know something abot oxidising ammonia then please write it down....if not then dont waste time.
if anyone still wants to make fun of my posts, then send me a u2u.
did ur brain received that?

Yes.
1) Find someone with some nitric acid.
2) Offer them your ammonium chloride in trade.

no, what bothers me is your use of exceptionally bad English, and your attitude.
fuk u guys - well, charming...
I asked u something....and like little tengraders u started making fun and going off topic - tengraders? Are you American?
is there a way long or short where i can transform ammonia or ammonium chloride to nitric acid? - there is already a (several,
probably) topic covering nitric acid and it's production from various starting substances, ammonia included. The concensus was that it was simply
not viable for the home chemist to produce it from ammonia, or ammonium compounds.
Search first.
If there are no results, which is sometimes the case, then ask politely. You, with your meagre amount of less-than-stellar posts, have no right to
criticise us for not spoon feeding you.
Blind Angel's original response pretty much summed it up.

As we're just tengraders, I figured out that you didn't need our help anyway...so I took the courtesy of banning you for a week.

did you see the 900 there?
that mean a lot of heat and u'll need anhydrous amonia, if you able to make/get anhydrous amonia you'll certainly be able to get nitric acid
since the first is more watched/dangerous to make
Anhydrous = Without water (not household amonia dissolved in water, nor a SALT)

i know what....i found that too in my chemtextbook of YEAR TEN
i knew i saw the reaction somewhere long time ago.
is urs also chemestry 2nd edition from nelson science?
well...i guess i fucked my calculations on vulture.
i guess hes year nine.
ur right once more...but not enough.
what vulture did was veeeeery bitchy.

Whoa...
Horny Bunny, you are really pushing it!
For one thing, it's an old process invented by Haber&Bosch IIRC, the oxidation of NH3 to NO. Found in the lowest of low level chemistry
books.
BUT good luck doing this yourself. This has been mentioned in other threads anyhow.
Anyway... this is not a personal vendetta navarone. Vulture banned you cus you were being bitchy, insulting and demanding answers without bothering to
have a look at existing threads. Plus you openly state your purposes in making drugs to drug girls into your bed... which is not something many people
will respect/tolerate. After repeated warnings, advice, comments, etc you still dont listen up. I have a suspicion navarones ghost will fade away soon
too...

first of all i came here asking for a synthesis.
suddenly all these people just start making fun of my old topic on lovedrugs.
right... ive been rude
but the fault is not only mine.
when i see that u guys keep on making fun of that for soo long is kind of annoyng.
actually is really annoyng and childish... especially when its off topic!!
i ask something and what do i get?:
haha..horny bunny
pervert
stupid..u dont know shit
and so on..
it really ressembles to a group of stupid 10th graders.
anyway im not a bastard...so lets do this:
i admit my faults.
u guys admit ur faults.
sorry sorry.
forget about what happend.
and peace.

Actually.... there might be some good mad scientist way to convert ammonium chloride to nitric acid other then the good ol:
NH4Cl + NaOH ----> NH3 + NaCl + H2O
2NH3 + 2.5O2 --(Pt @ 900C)--> 2NO + 3H2O
NO + 1/2O2 ----> NO2
2NO2 + H2O ----> HNO3 + HNO2
I mean, if you put the ammonium chloride into solution and used a strong enough oxidizing agent it might get done. After I worked my way though all
the light weight ones with no sucess I know that I would start to resort to the big guns.... I do not recomend the 'big guns' to others
however..... Ammonium chloirde in soultion treated with ozone, dimanganese heptoxide, dichlorine heptoxide, sodium bismuthate, fluorine, etc. My in
fact yeild the desired nitric acid (note, many of these will oxidize the water too.) Mind you I'm not saying try this... never ever never work
with any of these compounds without comprehensive health and property insurance and a properly designated beneficiary in the event of your untimely
demise.

No, it doesn't bother me, since I'm not English either. What bothers me is text so full of errors (both with regards to grammar and
spelling) that it's almost impossible to read.

I thought this was closed.
Anyway it has been very entertaining. I too enjoy the pleasures of drugging women (young boys) and luring them into my chambers. A funny story, one
night, after excessive drug use and masturbation, I had stumbled upon a young boy who had experienced his first erection earlier on during the day. I
encouraged him to repeat the miraculous event over some tea and biscuits. I brought him to my lair in which we undressed and sat at the table. I
served him his tea and he asked why it was so white and sticky, oh! how much the young boys need to learn. And so we exchanged erections and spoke of
similar yanders, needless to say his name was navarone and his penis was quite small.

Before using a sock puppet, it would have been a good idea to learn English. It will take more than a change of name to disguise your semi-literate ranting.

We have a saying in Sweden. Loosely translated to English it is: "If you can't be the best, try to be the worst".
The "best" applies to a specific area of expertice, the "worst" applies to "behaviour".

ska!
jag vet at jag är inte det bästa.
there so many other people here that knows chemestry better than me.
thats why im here...to learn something new.
but it seems that people here prefer wasting time and megabites on stupid comments, rather than just answer to my questions.
im not the best...but certainly not the worst compared to some people here.
-im a fish-, u are a fish in fact of intelligence cuz there are still people in the world who actually dont act like assholes.u guys are making fun
of something even if off topic.
why?
because ur like a group of sheeps, following what others do whitout using ur brain:
"baaa...lets diss navarone..baaa...why?...i dont even know why but the others are doing it so it must be cool....even if it has nothing to do
with the topic...baaa."
no..anubis is not me...sorry
try smoking less pot.. its not so good for ur brain.
vulture or any other moderator...with my excuses...please lets close this topic.
im sick of this
or maybe u can leave it open..
its a perfect retards playground.

IMO the best way to make Nitric is phosphoric (or if you're careless like my, hydrochloric) + pottasium nitrite.
