Oxalic acid can't cause old glowstick again make light


I added some oxalic acid and hydrogen peroxide into old glowstick liquid, but it didn't again make light.

The "fuel" (reductor) in glowsticks are phenyl or tertiary alcohol esters not plain oxalic acid.
