More free books

Here is another set of free science books, just pay postage or free with any other glassware order. Hopefully this will go away quickly, but after a short time it could be merged with my other thread, just trying to get it viewed for people who like books. I am happy to ship one to an entire book load to anyone who wants these. There are a few classics here, the Chemist's Companion is a great book for graduate school work, Larock is a great organic reference, and there are several editions of organic spectra books here. And Mathematica is just an amazing piece of software that I don't have access to now, Woldram's other book, "A New Science" is also neat for math and computer geeks, I gave away a copy a while back. Also I have a few chess books, not shown, if anybody likes chess.

I love me some old chemistry texts. Any idea what shipping would be to Canada for Shriner, Millard, and Noller?

I'd have to check, but shipping to Canada has been nearly impossible due to fees and tariffs, many of which are unknown until they arrive. I had one package get $100+ of fees added to it, so for now, I think it best to skip until the rules are clear. And almost any package to Canada starts at $40 plus the weight now...

And prices to most other places are even worse, so for now, lets try US only. Draconic, if you have a friends in the US that you visit, I can do those for $5-10 dollars.

Most of the inorganic books have been claimed, but most of the organic, spectroscopy, and medicinal ones are left, if anyone is interested.

I've received my books, and I've already started reading some of them! Thanks so much, it's like Christmas came early this year!

I'm glad they are of use to you, I hate throwing out old books, as most are still quite useful, and in many fields, especially at the introductary levels, nothing much has changed in decades.

I have never understood the need for updated math textbooks, given that most of the math I took was figured out by Newton and his predecessors more than a few years ago.

I am selling another batch of these, so in this batch only a few organic and med chem books are left now, plus the Mathmatica book. But I am sure that I will have more books as well. I also still have a huge number of statistics books, books on chemical hazards (mostly very specific to each chemical or class), water treatment, and carcinogenisis in general. Please do let me kow if you are interested in any of those classes or other general areas.

I would be interested in getting these to Australia if possible. I'll give you a U2U and we can talk it out.
Let me know. :)

For anyone who wants to buy books or glassware to places other than the US, if people really want something shipped overseas the only way I have had much luck lately is via selling it on Ebay and using their overseas shipping, where I send it to Ebay and they shipp it overseas in bulk and then send it to the recipient. It costs a bit, but they deal with customs, tariffs, fees, etc, and has worked well so far for me. I have not had any luck shipping things via USPS, FedEx or UPS lately, as the constant changes have created many new fees, delays, etc, but Ebay seems to have a handle on it. But it have to be a specific thing, not just some books or such.
