Nah, I’m talking about making 10% sulfamic acid solutions at room temperature for scale removal. Not a violent exothermic process but if you get less than say 18 inches from beaker a mildly irritating respiratory experience not much different than diluting 31.45% hydrochloric acid. These two chemicals are not very toxic so it’s really being mindful of mist just for comfort. Other materials which are far more dangerous and cumulative such as Cr(VI), mercury and lead for example the nuances of mist formation on dissolving in water or other solvents need more attention.
