Yes, it would contribute 4 electrons, to give the Xe(VI) oxyfluoride, with a lone pair of electrons left on the Xe (which can be utilized by reaction with O3 or atomic oxygen to give a Xe(VIII) oxyfluoride, XeO3F2), and a total of 14 valence electrons on Xe, some of which occupy formerly empty 5d and possibly 4f orbitals.
