Atomizer

http://img189.imageshack.us/i/83688905.jpg/

The purpose for making this atomizer is to pour molten gold into a stream that is inside this thing I made

I have made a doughnut shape with plumbing pipes
they are brass and copper and I welded them with lead free solder that I bought from the hardware store
they look like lead solder but it says lead free and it has silver in it

The only thing I am concerned about is that will this things come apart while I am pouring the gold through it and
all the gold scattered everywhere.
I dont think that the thicker pipes will come apart because there is plenty of solder but the thing that I am
concerned about is the 4 small pipes that are the nozzles they soldered directly on top of the brass
pipes(half inch regular plumbing pipes)
These nozzles dont fit into anything they are just soldered

After thinking about this design I have decided not to go ahead with this idea
becasue there are too many things that can go wrong
For one thing the nozzles arent real nozzles they are just small pipes where I have
drilled small holes manually and also I will have a problem attaching the hose from the
pressure washer to the atomizer
The pressure washere will be 1900 psi
The origal design requires
750 psi of water pressure per nozzle
The thing is I dont want a gas powered machine these have 3000 psi
so it will be enough
I am buying electric and these are not as powerful 1900 psi
Also there is the problem of attaching the hose from the machine to the atomizer
In the picture I have not made that and It can be a problem welding it
So I would like to use plumbing pipes to attach everything toghther and do it like that
Here there again a problem becasue the last pieace that fits into the round doughnut shape
need to be fitted in there with hydrolic or something like that becasue it wont turn
I hope I was able to make myself clear excuse me if this post seems a bit mixed up
I can answer any questions
Thanks

good thing you abandoned this design. 1900 p.s.i. is quite a bit for dummy welds.why did you not just get couplings or sleeves?are the holes you drilled for exhaust?is your atomizer to make gold dust?is this a 2ft. by 2ft. design?how will you pour the gold in?you could always go to auto parts store and buy a threader and make your own threads to fit into threaded nipples.molten gold is probably hotter than solder welds but maybe the pressure blast will reduce heat.you are better off with threaded tees and y couplings than pressure fitted stuff because you might end up flinging copper bullets.

The holes Was drilled to give me the effect of nozzles
They are those 4 marks inside the atomizer
They are approx. half inch pipes

This is the measurements
about 12 inches in diameter

The gold is poured from the top of the atomizer

I have the option to make a design that will be different
It will have the round effect but the ends will not join
So from one end you have the hose coming and the other
you have a plug

I did not try this and I am thinking about it
THe only thing is someone said that the design for a atomizer should be
like my original design that means no plug and the 2 ends must meet

What do you think about that

by the looks of your other pics it looks like you've dealt with gold a bit.i dont have a clue at what your aim is but it must be interesting.
