Yes I have plenty, but finding a water source 5m deep away from people isn't very likely for me.

Yes. The cellulose prevents stray sparks from running down the length of fuse and prematurely igniting your primary. That would be a horrible thing.

Petn1933: I think the technique in the video you posted looks very promising, especially the part where he stretches the rolled up film. This will
likely compress the powder filling to a more consistent density, and also lessen the likelyhood of the flame flashing through low density regions (for
a fuse). I think it is a very elegant way of exploiting the mixed amorphous and crystalline domains in the plastic film. AFAIK the reason that many
types of polymer become stronger when they are stretched is that the stretching aligns the polymer chains, making the plastic more crystalline (and
therefore stiffer and stronger) in the stretched part. Then when you continue pulling, the unstretched regions are the weakest part and therefore
become stretched next.
