Hello all

Does someone know this kind of magnetic stirrer? is the Double Spinfin Magnetic Stirring Bar, the same model from this site

https://www.taylorscientific.com/double-spinfinr-magnetic-st...

I bought because found very cheap here :D but it spins eccentrically, is it normal?

Does it withstand high speeds spinning this way?

It looks like it is too small for the magnet on the stir plate.
So it is getting one pole stuck to a pole on the stir plate and getting dragged around.
These are designed for use in a round bottom flask where it will be pulled to the bottom of the flask.
For a flat bottom, you really need something sized to the dimensions of the stir plate magnet.

I managed to make it spin in the center, but it's really unstable on a flat bottom. It is 25mm in diameter.

Thanks
