I regret not oxidising all Fe2+ to Fe3+ before oxalating Nd

so i diss the Nd magnets in HCl, filtered NiCu coatings and B, then left it aside under foodwrap for a few months until i remember it, then added NH3 aq and oxalic acid, bam! a lot of fluorescent yellow ppt dropped out, which i assumed to be Fe2(Ox)3 so i added more NH3 aq and oxalic acid to dissolve more of the ppt...not much dissed, i literally used up >1L 30% NH3 & >1kg OA which is huge excess for 150g of magnets. then i figured out it prob should be FeOx instead. now i ended up with 2L of a liq & solid mix of the oxalates. def regret for not oxing the Fe2+ to Fe3+ beforehand:facepalm:
