I don't want to sound paternizing (not too much) but honestly, you should stay away from this synthesis for a while.
My feeling is that you don't know much enough to be able to safely do things like this.
There seem to be too much gaps in your knowledge for anyone to start explaining the details of how to deal with e.g. chloroacetic-chloride! (Yes, it
does produce an exotherm. Yes, it is volatile. Yes, it acts as a tear-gas...)
Hell! You don't need ammonia gas! That would be another "cavalier stunt" in your kitchen/garage/(living room?)...
When you are at level1 you don't aim for level8 targets.
