Pentane extraction from styrofoam (/other blowing agent) possible?
Ive consistently read that styrofoam is "99% air" but the other day i read that it is not akr but mostly the blowing agent. Its most commonly pentane.
So if i dissolved some styrofoam in a closed system which lead all gasses produced through some ethanol, would it woek?

Only just after blowing the foam there is pentane, but it will be displaced by air over time.
