How do I extract the compound from it's softgell capsule?

Maybe a slightly stupid question, but oh well.

I have phosphaditylcholine in soft gells. How can I extract it from the glycerin? I popped em open, but it's still mixed in glycerin goo.

Can anyone help?

Are you intending to use it as a supplement or as a precursor?

I would suggest a short silica column.
Dissolve the gel in something like methanol.
Pour it on to the top of the column.
Wash the glycerine through and then take off the phosphatidylcholine.
You should get an excellent separation with only a very short column.
