Help a teacher build a demo vacuum chamber

Afternoon all, I have been searching the forums here and googling my fingers a bunch today trying to find a solution for connecting a vacuum pump to a vacuum chamber that I picked up on Amazon. The issue is that I have not been able to find appropriate hoses/fitting to do the job. Below are links to the pump and the chamber that I purchased for in class demonstrations in Physics and Chemistry. The pump has 1/4" male and 1/2" ACME threaded brass fittings and the chamber has a smooth / staged plastic pressure fitting (picture attached, goes from 1/4" to 1/2" diameter). Any suggestions as to what and where i should look to make this project work out?

Also I would like to be able to attach a suitable gauge to measure the approximate vacuum in the chamber, any suggestions for this would also be great.

I picked up the 1/4" brass female/hose barb fitting and the Acme threaded bleed valve at O'Reilly auto parts.

The 1/4" vacuum hose is available from Carolina Biological.

The vacuum gage and hose barb tee (for the gage) were obtained at Ace Hardware.

For pictures of these see my last post (transesterification).

You are welcome.

Please check your forum mail (U2U) for identifying information on the 1/4"SAE/hose barb fitting.
