I have an analog hot plate stirrer from them. It stopped working a few times because I washed them with water and used it immediately afterward (thought it was waterproof).
Then it finally died for good.

The ceramic plate is actually iron thinly coated with ceramic. It started chipping for no reason.
I was actually cleaning my glassware one time and the ceramic coating popped off in small pieces into the air.

Finally sent it in for warranty, didn't actually expect anything from them, but when I came back from vacation, got a package with a new looking hotplate in it.
