any pictures of manganate(V) salts ?


Hypomanganate or Manganate(V) salts are bright blue... as Wikipedia says.

I want to see them, but never got any pictures :mad:
anyone has ?

You can reduce KMnO4 with bisulfite by careful titration to V (blue). Photograph it quickly, though! The air rapidly oxidizes it to VI (green).
