Diethyl 1, 3 acetone dicarboxylate disposal/reaction

I made some diethyl 1, 3 acetone dicarboxylate and want to either do a reaction with it or dispose of it. Any ideas?

Try the synthesis of [3.3.3]propellane: http://www.nrcresearchpress.com/doi/pdf/10.1139/v78-030

If I would have some spare time, I would try it out, pretty interesting looking compound, sadly good for nothing.

You could make the acid anhydride, and I think there's a number of syntheses you could do with it
