Ratio of MN+2 : MN+3 in a small sample


I am a carpenter by trade with a Chemistry Hobby.Can anyone tell me an Inorganic Lab Manual,that would have or tell me Directly--A simple wet lab bench top step by step procedure for determining the ratio of MN+2:MN+3 in a small sample?I would like to know Both {ferrous sulfate/KmnO4},and{KI/thiosulfate Iodometric titration routes if possible...Thank You
