possible nitration of isomalt?

What would be the outcome from the nitration of the 12-carbon alcohol sugar Isomalt if any?

Maltose octonitrate, C12H14O3(NO3)8 has negative OB and is less stable than nitrated sucrose, decomposing slowly @ 50°C!
