Found some "eco-friendly" tin replacements for the lead shot used in fishing. Didn't buy them, but did pick up some tungsten variants instead. Pretty
cheap, at $4 for 4 3/8" diameter spheres. Looks like they're sintered, so I should be able to break them to small enough chunks to fit in an ampoule.

But they are a good source of H2SO4.
I drill from the bottom and leak out the acid.
Make sure to wash the drill bit after.
Then I use a thin, hand held saw to cut the top off.
When you do enough cutting, pull it off with force.
Collect the lead and melt it down.
Collect the PbO2 and set it aside in a big bucket.
