Detonating an HE Binary using Shotgun Shell Primer

Hey guys,
Has anyone ever developed a method of detonating a binary without synthesizing an HE primer. I'm wondering if there is a way to go from using saaayyy....A shotgun shell primer to an intermediate booster to finally an AN/Al mixture.

Any ideas?

I think this has been discussed here before. My first thought is that the booster material would have to be rather sensitive to be properly initiated. Actually sensitive enough to make NPEDs viable. So that's another way to avoid primaries.
