Synthesis of n,n-dimethylformamide
Have anyone a suggestion to prepare n,n-dimethylformamide
O=CHN(CH3)2 or DMF wich is surely useful for any chemical reactions for funny energetic materials ?
Possibly by formic acid, ammonia solution, ammonium salt`s or by a subsitution wit a amide (sodium amide).

Thanks for posting the thread solo.
I have some suggestions what can walk for the systhesis,
possibly when:
put the formic acid in a beaker,
n,n-dimethylchloromethane  is added to the concentrated formic acid and the DMF is
produced by continue the systhesis when saturated NaOH solution is dropped in the mixture.
I don`t know the n,n-dimethylchloromethane is produced easy by diflourochlormethane or some other starting materials.
