deward-benzene and light sensitive chemical reactions

I have a idea using the spezial hexamethylbenzene, the deward-benzene, to exploiding the spezial attributes and the sensitivity against light for chemical synthesis.
When the deward-benzene is dissolved in a solevent and
mixed with other chemicals chausing maybe a substitution
with the -CH3 group.
Contingently the light sensitive proberties make it useable like any halogen subtances when it irradiated with UV-light ?
I know similar proberties have halogen subtances with flourin
wich are sensitive against light or which can accumulating
light.

Are you saying you want to use Dewar benzene as a radical initiator?

One shouldn't accept or resort to the mutilation of science to appease the mentally impaired.

I meant the option use the spezial attributes of the Dewar benzene wich it probably disintegrated itself and lost the -CH3 group(s) and it can mabe used in a side reaction initiate
subtitutions with other chemicals.
Maybe the Synthesis is pushed with light irradiation.
-CHCH3-
