What?

A vacuum pump makes low pressures. Your pump makes high pressures, moreover not even high enough to pump a bicycle tire! It sucks, but not the way you want it!:P

Gives boiling point / pressure curves - if you can messure the pressure of the vacuum from the tap, you should be able to read off the temps you'll need to do the distillation.
