Fluoresceine derivatives synthesis. (Help)

Hello, im looking to make some fluoresceine derivatives because of it's fluorescence properties and colors, Tetrachloro-fluoresceine for example, or Eosin. Iv'd tried some electrolysis method's some years ago, using the salts, For example Sodium bromide in alcohol 50% by mass with water and fluoresceine and i got the fluorescence of Eosin under UV light, but i have made some very pure Fluoresceine in my lab and want to do some derivatives, i need some help :D

Look in the forum library. Vogel has detailed syntheses of eosin, flourescein, uranine, and dibromofluorescein. This will likely be moved to Beginnings due to a lack of references. Also, search the forum, there are various threads on this already.
