Make Catalytic Camphor...

I don't know if this was talked about before, but I want to share what I found while conducting some solubilty experiments with liquid gases.
Some texts claims powdered camphor to be an useful catalyst, like in Sulfuryl Chloride (SO2Cl2) preparation on Brauer's book.
I've found that a finely divided form of camphor can be prepared in a very simple method, by dissolving camphor in a liquified gas.
I've used n-butane liquified by cooling at atm. pressure.
Camphor was intoduced into liquid butane and soon dissolved, in a ratio of about 2:1 (butane : camphor).
Then the cold solution was dropped in a beaker or better, a surface at ambient temp. As soon butane evaporates, camphor precipitates as a foamy mass.
This seemed to me a nice method to obtain catalyst-suitable camphor, even because butane can be trapped and re-used.
