I don't get the joke. Please explain. :D I wouldn't hesitate a second sleeping with HE under my bed, but if the smell is even remotely as intrusive as toluene, I would skip it.

Energetic hole digging is done in military when the ground is frozen or otherwise very difficult to manually excavate and heavy equipment is not available. The efficiency is very low, several kg of HE charge can only create a foot deep hole and making a manhole requires order of magnitude more. In modern day combat this is also somewhat questionable because proximity fuses allow no shrapnel protection when hiding in a pit.

@Fyndium...Any PETN plastic it's more brizant. TNT is old standard. But yes, is it recognized standard RE1. Maybe is time for a new standard C4...:cool:
