Another idea for a competition? Electrochemistry…

I’m floating an idea for yet another competition. Call this thread a bit of ‘market research’, trying to gauge potential SM interest as this comp would need at least three competitors, although the more the merrier of course. So this is not a ‘sign up’ page.

The winner of the competition will, from the ‘field’ [cough?] of competitors, have created an electrochemical cell (or battery: two or more cells in tandem) with the highest ratio of Ohmic power to cell (or battery) weight: maximum W/kg.

Obviously that opens up the way for competitors to ‘go large’ or ‘go micro’, as per their inventiveness, to solve this ‘optimum problem’.

Rules would be quite ‘liberal’ and non-restrictive on chemicals and construction to promote quality. No ‘all OTC’ nonsense here, no sirreeh! :D

Prize money: $50. Minimum competitors required: three (competition will be cancelled if less than 3 sign up). Competition duration: 2 months.

What say All You Fair Folk at SM? Yay or Nay? Please state also your estimated probability of signing up, if you're that way inclined.
