Category:Organic compounds
From Sciencemadness Wiki
Organic compounds are a somewhat arbitrarily classified group of compounds that are often associated with living things or biological processes. In the most general sense, organic compounds are those that contain carbon, though many carbon-containing compounds are often excluded for historical reasons. Compounds that have C-H bonds or C-C bonds are usually considered organic, as are compounds derived from compounds containing these bonds.
